This silk screen print was created by Jim Johnny in 1979 and signed in pencil. It's a limited edition print. This one is in mint condition. It is a 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" silk screen print with the frame it's 9 x 12". Jim Johnny, having ancestral roots in both the Kwaguilth and coast salish tradition is well qualified to represent the artwork of the North West Coast Native people. Possessing a vast store of knowledge of his people's legends and mythology he has chosen prints as a mode of communication by which to tell his story. Jim is well learned in this highly disciplined art form and his prints speak loud and clearly of his great love and respect for his native people and their traditions.
